I am a stay-at-home mother of one sweet little boy and live in a picturesque little town on the Strait of Juan de Fuca across the water from Victoria, B.C.  I grew up watching my very talented mom making quilts and clothes and other very cool things and thinking I could never be able to do what she does.  Thanks to her endless patience and my determination and love of creating things, everything finally clicked for me at some point.  I've been sewing various things for well over 20 years but just recently fell in love with children's clothes.  Maybe it has a little something to do with starting a bunch of quilts but rarely finishing one.  I love the instant gratification of finishing something in a short amount of time!!
